How much does it cost to rent a photo or film studio?
Studio rental prices in the Netherlands, based on rates published in the Shootspace directory.

Where these amounts come from
The amounts come from listings in our directory. They are not a market index or recommended prices. Rates and terms may change; ask the studio for the rate on your date. Missing rates are marked as unknown.
Studios charge by the hour, half day or day, sometimes with a minimum booking. A day rate of €500 means little until you know whether lights, a cyc and overtime are included. Also read what’s included in the hire and how to save without guessing.
Hour, half day or day
An hourly rate works for a short portrait or product shoot, but many studios set a minimum of several hours. A half day (often a morning or afternoon of about four to five hours) is common for interviews and lookbooks. Allow extra hire time for building a set, running several setups and loading in a film crew.
Watch the extra time: Studio Big Time states that load-in and wrap count inside the hire window, and offers a longer day until 22:00 if you need more room. Mirage3D charges overtime per half hour. Those rules differ by studio; ask before you book.
What else affects the price
Ask whether using a cyclorama, drive-in, green screen or control room affects the price. Also check surcharges for weekends, public holidays and last-minute changes. Most listings quote prices excluding VAT; we repeat the studio’s own note.
